I went for an interview for a new job this week. It was an amazing experience- not only because the job is one I would love to do, but also because I was able to be fully myself. I was honest about my realization late in life that I am gay, and the ways my life has changed since then. They were understanding and appreciative, and said there would be no problem with me working there and being out. In the end, they offered me the position, and I accepted. I am utterly amazed and thankful. A year ago I could not have imagined this.
That is a wonderful news and to be able to express yourself comfortably around your co-workers sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Great news! Being fully out at work is probably a lot of peoples' dream - I know it's one of my dreams at least.
Thats so great. Im very happy for you. I wish all workplaces are like that. Keep us posted on how it goes and congrats.
Smokin'...so happy 4 U! I accepted an amazing offer last week from an up and coming financial firm. Great people...I'm sure there are one or two LGBT folks in there.
Wow! I love how things came change in a heartbeat and that you never know what good things are coming in your life. This gives me hope. Thank you for sharing! And, congratulations!!! :eusa_clap :eusa_danc
I am so glad to hear great news like this, especially something you couldn't imagine going so well a year ago.
