I was with a good friend of mine who I told months ago that I was Gay. He's a painter and was telling me about a job he was doing and how difficult it was to paint in the closets in the house he was working in. I then told him I wouldn't know, I Came Out of the Closet. Though he was going to have heart attack laughing.
That was funny. This seems so heavy sometimes that we may overlook situations where we can use a sense of humor with it. LOL
Everyone needs laughter in their lives. Although Coming Out can be one of the most stressful issues in life, we must always be able to find the humor that is associated with it. I always say if I make one person smile and laugh a day it is a good day.
Classic! When I told a relative, I asked the relative to go for a walk because I need to tell him something. He said, "what, are you going to tell me your gay?" I said, "well, yes". He responded "Stop joking, what is it you want to tell me?" Geez.
