Finally went to a meet-up

So I finally went to a meet-up locally because I'm sick of making excuses to my therapist about why I haven't. It was just playing board games and drinking beer with other women, but it was a good experience. I felt a bit like an imposter (but that's my own issue and nothing to do with the group I'm sure). When I casually mentioned I was 'newly out' as the reason I was there, nobody seemed to say much about it. It was a good experience for me to be around women who were all there for the same reason and also, every single one of the women were feminine presenting (like me), which made me feel really comfortable as a noob to all this and still awkward navigating everything. So there is that. I expect I'll go to another one. For those of you on the fence, just go for it.
