    not LGBT related but i felt the need to share. haha. this is a different day for me, this is my release date from the Royal Canadian Navy, 19 years in the Reserve Force. Wow, ive been preparing myself for this but it is a strong emotional day. the funny part is that this also marks the 18th anniversary of the start of my civilian job, too. really a mix of emotions today.

    Wow! Congrats! In saying what you just said, it reminded me that I got out of the US Army Reserves twenty-five years and three days ago. Man I feel old but surprisingly young too. Enjoy your new civilian life!
