As my posts have been showing, I'm in a bit of a funk, and I'm not really out of it; I suspect my highs and lows, particularly lows, will be around for a while. But I do love to dwell in the nice moments that happen here snd there. So yesterday, I had a second interaction with a cute woman in a cafe. The first time, I got the vibe that she was kind of flirting with me, and I panicked snd became s bumbling idiot, or mostly just went into my shell. Yesterday I managed to smile and make eye contact like s normal person. Sounds really silly but that is progress for me, lol. Today, I had a little butterfly in the chest moment. There's a woman at work eho I think is simply lovely. She's got the most warm smile, she gives off the vibe if comfortable, sweet, kind. She usually wears her hair up, but the last 2 days it's been down and thats only made me think she's more beautiful. Bonus, she's made nerd references, like Star Trek TOS.....swoon. Anyway, she's really friendly, always says hi when we pass, but she seemed to particularly notice me after my hair cut snd some of my changes in style.... So all this just to say that I got a bit butterfly in the chest just niw whrn she said good morning. Ok that's not much, but these moments make my day.
she does seem quite wonderful. I'm hoping there's more to come. ---------- Post added 4th Nov 2015 at 11:42 PM ---------- Another positive thing...I've started getting back to writing short stories. I've added the beginning of one to my blog. I'm not a great writer, so if you read it, go in with low expectations... Writing is so cathartic. I'm planning on adding more here and there.
