    Hi guys! Lots of heavy threads lately, so here's a little bit of silliness.

    My friends and I are huge dorks and love Captain America. I'm a fake geek girl who has only seen the movies. My friend (pictured below as "Bucky", I, of course am Captain America) is actually a Real Geek Girl who has read all the comics and stuff.

    We went to Comic Con last year dressed as chick versions of the characters.

    Feel free to chuckle as us but respect the TOTALLY BADASS full size aluminum shield I had commissioned, heh. :grin:

    My real hair isn't bad, but it isn't Captain America blonde.

    Haha! Oops! Should I have known that?! As you can see I have long, flowing, beautiful locks that I need to maintain daily so it's easy for me to make that mistake :roflmao:

    Nah, I didn't ever say what my hair color was, so. I think the wig looks pretty realistic which is why I picked it. Most people go for really really blonde wigs when they dress up and those always look super fake IMO.

    Your hair is cute! I have chubby cheeks so I can't pull off short hair but I like it on others.

    The shield is so beautiful in person that my OHTER friend has it hanging in her office as art lol.

    You want to know what I thought this was? Before I read the post and just looked at the picture, I thought we were supposed to guess which actresses were dressed as characters! Great job to both of you on the costumes and that wig is fantastic!

    Gosh!! :icon_redf:icon_redf I totally posted the very best pic of us, out of many. But really, I'm not impressive in person. (My friend, however, is even more smoking than she appears here.)

    However in person I AM very smart and funny and creative and nice and humble, so. ;D

    The costume looks amazing, love it! The shield, the wig, the outfit, it all works beautifully!

    Btw, was supposed to cosplay at a local con yesterday but it ended up falling through as I couldn't get it all together in time. I'll save it For a con next year and it'll give me more time to get everything together. :slight_smile:
