Imagine, starting this Friday night that you are dating yourself. All weekend, pamper yourself as if you are being so kind to someone you are fond of. By Monday, see how you feel. If you are down, then perhaps, you have to keep dating yourself till the finished product is a smile that you wish to share with someone.

Great idea! Love yourself UNCONDITIONALLY, before someone else does. Isn't that what it's all about. Yet we (speaking for myself) love ourselves CONDITIONALLY, if only I was this, I was that...blah..blah..blah.
We must look after ourselves first and foremost, because we are all we've got.

I will gladly take your advice ... I need it

I went to a poem reading last night by myself featuring an up and coming gay male poet. I had one glass of sparkling wine before hand, sat through the performance as he read from his latest book (which was supplemented by an LGBT Choir between poems), and then grabbed a meal afterwords. I had a great time!

I love this thinking and I'm inspired by it . Will try it myself!

I love this! I do feel a lot recently like I need to just focus on myself. I love this little philosophy. I'll be using it from now on.

I like that haha Before you can love anyone else you've got to love yourself first cuz if you don't ,love yourself how are you capable of loving someone else? It would be a disaster me trying to date myself haha

I think it's a pretty neat idea, especially if you are about to enter the dating scene.

I think I would enjoy very much to have dinner in front of a copy of myself. So many insider jokes, so many obscure references understood, so much tenderness, randomness, strange adventures, and then the most awesome sex ever...

Naw, I'd rather have dinner with my girlfriend and remember the loser I am : Keeps my feet on the ground.
Besides I don't feel like drowning on the lake... Not yet.
