I was just thinking this afternoon that it'd be really nice for a man to give me a gift. Something masculine, maybe a nice watch, or something really nerdy... That would feel really good. It'll take time, I know. Sometimes it doesn't feel like I'm making progress, but I know that I am. I have to think about where I started and what I'm able to do here to help move my emotional development forward. I have come a long way.
To me, it feels like I'm becoming more comfortable with the idea of emotional closeness with another man. That idea is starting to sound better and better.
