Just now, the song The Final Countdown by Europe popped into my head.

My coming out time line has included waiting until after my cousin's wedding on the 22nd. Lez than 8 days till he is married and I can come out of I want....

I feel like I should make a power rock playlist for as I make my phone calls.

After I come out, I would like a pecan waffle from Waffle House, and I would like to buy some super awesome rainbow somethingerother to wear. I shall now shop etsy for a goal item.....

LOL. This sounds like a great plan. You can eat some raw eggs and run up some steps like Rocky when you're done.

    I love it!

I'm in a Final Countdown right now, too. I can identify with you there.

You are gonna rock your rainbow gear! Pick up a couple of different items, consider them a source of your superpower. I have a silicone wristband in the bi pride colors of purple/pink/blue, it gives me my secret bi superpowers, LOL.

Keep us posted, Katchoo. I'm cheering for you. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:ride:

All I think is the commercial with the song. Was the person cooking a frozen burrito? Lol!

Yeah, that was a GEICO commercial. I love that one!

Thanks, Katchoo! I'm not into toe socks, or I'd definitely order those. I have ordered from Sock Dreams before, they are great. They have a line of Eco-Friendly socks that contain hemp and recycled fibers - I ordered a bunch and they are super durable, last forever - I wear them everyday for work.

Here are the rainbow socks I've had for a while, from pridesocks - very recommended if you like old-school, 70's tube socks:

Under the Knew Rainbow Tube Socks: Cool Socks, Volleyball Socks, Skater Tube Socks, Funky Socks, Wild Socks

I'm kinda with Em on the toe sock thing... but that's just me

Just remember, though.. if you do the whole training montage thing (exercising, running up and down steps, etc.) you must play "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor while doing it.

Good luck, hon, and just remember; you're a wonderful person, and no one can take that away from you.

Ido like those tube socks, especially the black ones! Iwonder how much the calves stretch. Ihave kinda big calves. My argile socks leave their diamond pattern behind even after I take them off.

Yeah, toe socks aren't for everybody, but Sock Dreams has something for everybody. Em, get some Extrordinarily Longer socks and maybe a garter belt and wear those around your apartment. So good!

Today I decided on my post coming out to my family prizes / rewards to get myself.

    And #2 https://www.etsy.com/listing/260613860/rainbow-and-cloud-earrings-style-2

There were many other contenders, but those felt like things Iactually want and will enjoy that won't break the bank, and there are similar things elsewhere on the interwebs if they get snatched up. (Please don't snatch them up.). So, I can look forward to those after I traumatize my whole family. Sigh. I hope they recover in time for birthday gifts. I really love birthday gifts.

I did a craft project for the Coming Out Care Packages to family. Yay magnets made with all stuff Ialready had in the house. The secret is aparently don't skimp with the hot glue.

    20160515_213614.jpg

Also, I have used a hidden / secret pinterest board to consider the things that will go in said care packages. I plan one for my dad's parents (with a thing or two for my uncle in there), one for my parents (with the most reading material and also a magnet for grandma with alzheimer's and a magnet for my uncle who is a terrible person), and one for my brother's family, including two small kids. I did not pin that I also found my neice a glam rainbow scarf and some glam rainbow hairbows. Everybody gets snacks. Most people get a small present.

    I agree. Katchoo rocks.

The Pride Socks aren't super stretchy in the calf, so they might not be what you're looking for. I like 'em a lot, though.

I love the fridge magnet idea, and the finished product looks awesome. You are super creative!

Ooooooohhhhhhh, I likey the chakra rear view mirror one!!! (Resists almost-overwhelming urge to snatch it up). Soooooo pretty!! The earrings are nice too, but holy-hot-damn, I like the chakra. Let me know once you've got yours, so it's free game for the rest of us.

Haha, Iwill. There are other similar things on etsy. There are some for a little more money that are even prettier. Does it say made to order? If so, snatch it. They'll make me another one if that's the case.

Nah, you called dibs. This will be special for you and I'll ride your coat tails, not swoop in before. I appreciate the offer though. After all, what are sisters for?

I'm glad yall aprove of the magnets. I'm happy with them, and happy that they were essentially free.

After the magnets, I decided to try making an RBG pendant for my friend's birthday. A little wonky, but works!
