Speaking of Kinsey, I think I might visit the Kinsey institute this week

My partner is at IU and has suggested we visit there. Of course, he just told me that a colleague of his said that we might see stuff that might make us never want to have sex again. Now that would be quite a feat...

But it might make for an interesting date.

Yeah. I gotta say I'm a little scared though. LOL I have no idea what to expect.

Been to the Kinsey institute before, it's fine. I really didn't gather any earth breaking info.

Hm. I'm imagining it rather sterile and matter-of-fact. I don't know. Maybe sex should be kept out of academia; it takes the joy and mystery out of it.*

    *Mostly kidding

As long as there continue to be men who think they are the first one to discover the clitorus, there will be sex in academia.

    That's awesome!

I'm disappointed that while I live in southern Indiana, many of my friends don't even know who Alfred Kinsey was, or that the Kinsey Institute is almost right next door (maybe I just think about this stuff a bit more than my straight cis friends, LOL). Anyway, it sounds like a cool place to check out!

Edit: Kinsey studied a lot of different things, apparently. :-D
