One of the sort of subconscious side effects of becoming more and more proud and comfortable in my queer skin and identity is that I've become very vocal on various forums, usually anonymous, but somewhat on FB too, about queer issues.

Do you guys feel yourselves evolving this way too?

It feels really good to say "as a queer woman I think..." And it gives me more spaces to stick up for the LGBT community.

    Anybody relate?

Yes. Mostly on here but I've "liked" or commented on lgbt things on facebook also more often than I used to. I feel more comfortable talking about things since I've accepted myself as a lesbian. And it does feel good!

No, anything I say online I do and am more than happy to say directly as well.

Meaning that you don't post differently in anonymous forums thsn you do in forums where your identity is known?

My point was that I'm becoming more vocal and more open in all spaces, anonymous and non-anonymous, but I'm not there fully yet!

Right now there's a clear divide between my "outer" persona (the one I show to family, friends and society in general) and my "inner" persona (which uses sites such as these), although I do express pro-LGBT and socially progressive views with both.

My outer and inner personas both have their own Reddit accounts as well - the outer is general stuff I like and the inner concentrates on LGBT subreddits.

One day it would be nice for them to merge, but I think that's a while off yet.
