I'm astounded when I reflect on who and what I was before coming to ECs. (I keep a journal) Before ECs I was 100% incapable of human to human love. Yet I knew I had the ability to love, for I loved my dog immensely - dog now deceased. Now I'm seeing why I couldn't love. Shame. Shame for being gay. I now have warm feelings (love) for myself and others. This is progress. (Thanks so much to those who have interacted with me, primarily via PM, and the many ECs volunteers who keep ECs running.)
I'm sorry about your dog. I love animals, and it is always a hard thing to lose them. Thanks for this message. It is always great to see that our community has positive results!
