So my niece got married on the 20th of August. That evening, I celebrated with the sister of the bride and her best friend with a few drinks prior to going back to the venue. I am fortunate for their mothers to call them my daughters, so we are pretty close. I was so nervous but I decided to come out to them before they head off to university. I had a speech ready in case the girls were too shocked. Instead, I was shocked when they accepted the fact that I am bi right away! I am so relieved!
