so ive been going through a divorce since before I joined EC. well, last night I finally was able to post the following; "Free at Last, Free at Last, Great God Almighty; I am Free At Last....” Words of Dr. Martin Luther King. Words that resonate with so many in so many ways, free from prejudice, free from discrimination, or on a personal level free from the trials and tribulations of personal hardship or relationships that are not good for you or those around you. It has been a long haul, of darkness, of pain, of strife; but to not be swallowed by the darkness, crippled by the pain or defeated by strife to not go quietly into that Good Night is truly to be Victorious, to be Independent. This is my truth today, finally the final papers are filed with the courts, all is done and as my lawyer said, I am a Happily Divorced Person; I am Victorious, this is my Independence Day. I am Free!
