Wow, is all I can say. I've been a member here for some time now. I don't post much, but I lurk around this site several times each day. I'm happy to see there are so many people in my age group here now. (&&&)

I even got the balls to list my age in my profile for the first time. (!)

I hope to be more active on this site now, and I'm also happy to see a few more Wisconsin members posting. (Hi Kay :smilewave)

Hello Zach -- glad you stopped by to say hi -- though I prefer "mature and well experienced" to "old" :roflmao: Pete

Hi Zach, it's great that you now feel comfortable to "come out" with your age. I look forward to seeing you on the forums.

So is this where the "well-experienced" folks hang out on a Friday night? (!)

Speaking of Wisconsin, I'm thinking of visiting there (not far from Janesville) this summer to see someone I met on another forum. I've never done that before, but we've gotten to know each other over the past couple of years online. By "that" I mean meet an online friend, although I also haven't been to WI before. Apparently it's where some of the cool people are.

I recently joined, and it felt a little awkward at first. I could see ages listed, and so many posters are young enough to be my children.

I just activated my age posting. It was something I was figuring I'd do one way or another, but hadn't gotten around to doing. Along with an avatar, additional information, a signature line, etc, etc, etc.

I think previously most of our older members chose not to display their age, and they are feeling more comfortable to do so now. I'm really glad this section is working out so well.

Showing my age too, and happy about it!

I'm here to learn but also to share what I have learned, it's really quite validating to be able to give to others some hard-won lessons!
