Hi folks, sorry I‘ve not been around the last few months so here is a quick update. Since coming out to my wife I have been unwinding after all the stress of the build-up, not really wanting to rock the boat, and just giving her time to get used to the new reality. She has been amazing and really accepting of the situation, but as yet I have not been out meeting guys and having sex. I had decided that I would not do anything until after our 25th wedding anniversary which was only a few weeks ago. My wife now thinks I am an expert on all things gay and keeps asking me do I think various people are gay. My Gaydar is not that highly tuned yet and I don’t think it’s possible to tell without seeing someone in person. She also likes to know who I fancy in various TV shows and films. I have thought of showing her my photo album of cute and mostly dressed guys so she gets a better idea of my type. What do you think? I also made an album of some very soft porn still photos of gay sex i.e. no cock on display, so that we could use it as a discussion point when it comes time for me to go out and start having fun with guys, but I am not sure quite how to introduce the subject. I have included the album with all our other albums on our server so that perhaps I could “accidentally!” stumble across it when we are looking at our photos or even my cute guy album.. but still in two minds over this. Perhaps I should leave it for her to discover and possibly enjoy in private. I should add I have already told her I spend a lot of time looking at gay porn, to keep me sane, so she should not be surprised, but I will keep the more raunchy porn out of site. Although she initially did not want me coming out to some of our gay neighbours because others may find out if they were indiscreet, I now sense that she may be OK with me telling them. I propose to tell her I have created a profile on a number of gay dating sites and that I ought to come out to our neighbours before they see my profile if they use the site. Following a software update of my Android smart phone all my hidden Apps, including Kindle E book reader, became visible again. My wife was using the phone to browse the internet and remarked “I see you have Kindle on the phone” so I am fairly sure she came across my Kindle copy of “10 Smart Things Gay Men Can Do to Find Real Love” but she has not mentioned the book. So far experimenting on Location based Apps on a smartphone I have exchanged a few words with other guys but feel that most of them want to get down to NSA fun where as I would prefer to develop a friendship first and that would seem to be awkward on a smart phone. I have been in contact with someone who runs a LGBTQ group that have a regular meeting but did not want to start going until after my wedding anniversary, perhaps I will start in the next few weeks.
