Just watching "Behind The Candelabra" (the Liberace movie on HBO) - there is a scene shortly after Liberace's mother passes on, where Liberace says those words to his lover (for the record he publicly always denied being gay).

Just wondering if those words had any resonance, especially with people who hid their non-heterosexuality from parents from a generation that was less understanding or accepting.
