Came across this book ... Have not read it .... but in case it may be of interest to straight spouses of gay men/ gay women. It gets good reviews... one reviewer said "This book turned my head around like hundreds of hours of therapy couldn't do... saved me thousands of dollars on anti-depressants. Thank you, Amity Pierce Buxton!"

Thanks for the recommendation, Bingostring. I think this book might come in handy for me.

This is a good book. I bought it for my wife (and myself) to help her feel less alone in this. The shock of discovering your spouse is not who you thought they are can be quite devastating and this book helps with these issues.

We are still discussing how to tell our children and this book helps set a framework for that.

Just went out and bought the book today! Haven't gotten very far, but based on the introduction, it seems a little bit dated... Was updated in 1998 (I think - have to double check) but anyway, a lot has changed in the LGBT community since it was published!
Still plan to give this to her as part of my coming out process.
