Default Campaign to pardon Alan Turing

BBC article with some info on what it's all about and some info on how these petitions work:
BBC News - Petition to pardon computer pioneer Alan Turing started

The petition (only signatures from UK residents or citizens are accepted)
https://submissions.epetitions.direc...etitions/23526

... Better later than never, of course, and the whole "pardon" thing implies he did something wrong in the first place, but it's still a worthwhile cause in my opinion.

And this is the first e-petition I ever signed with non-fake data. What was done to him was one of the more shameful things of XX century, it's not even a gay rights issue, it's being grossly indecent to a national and world hero.

I completely agree. Without this incredible man, WW2 could have turned out very differently. An apology from the PM simply isn't enough.

The wiki page is also very helping if information hunting, if anyone is interested in his life and his work.

I signed. I mean, I wouldn't have the ability to sign it if not for him...

Love this. This man is a hero and without him and his team WWII could have easily lasted another year and cost countless more lives.

Would love to sign, but it won't allow me as I am from the US and not the UK
