  1. Ok so I just came out to my sister, who is my twin, last night, through a text, she was in the other room, but it just seemed easier.
So anyway I was talking to her and I just said "If I told you something would you tell anyone" and she said no.
Then I said "Ok, I want to tell you something I really do, it's just don't flip."
    She said "fine"
So then i texted back "Ok this is really hard for me to tell you."
    she just typed "ok..."
Then me with "I'm gay." easy and fast, I hit send.
But see she didn't really have a reaction. At first she thought I was joking, which I get, because I joke around a lot. So when I convinced her I wasn't joking, she just said how do you know?
That's it, she didn't even come out of her room to talk to me, I am just really confused.
Is it "normal" to have no reaction???
Anyway I am just really freaking out.:help:

Some people just have a neutral reaction because they don't consider that to be something they should have a reaction about. Does that make any sense? I hope it does.

When I came out to my best friend, she looked at me, to see if I was joking or not (we're famous comedians at my school) saw that I wasn't, and shrugged and said 'okay'. I came out to her by saying "I'm bisexual, Merry Christmas" (don't ask why, I still don't know) and we cracked a few jokes about how I told her. She didn't really have a reaction.

I think your sister is okay with but didn't feel she needed to go in there and talk it out with you.

That's the best comeback because they look at you like .

    Gotta love making people confused.
