They're extremists who don't even follow the true doctrine of their own religion.

ironic that most, not all, but most of the bullying in our schools come from chirstian students. my brother works at a school with alot of ethnic and racial minorities, and it is not the hispanic or african american students that represent the majority of bullys, but the whites, white trashes, and chirstian students.

Where I grew up, it was extremely the opposite. Just saying. Predominantly white area too. (we had our fair share of diversity though)

We talked about this sort of thing in my class yesterday and I think what you need to look at are the types of Christians/religious students/people you're talking about. Intrinsic and fundamental religious people are the ones you're going to hear this hate from, but extrinsic and Quest type religious people you won't. It's not all Christians and religions who hate us, it's more the people who are so structured in their religions who feel their religion is their life that wind up hating us because to them if the Bible says it's wrong, it must be wrong. It's the people who perhaps are religious but more for like social reasons or perhaps just find religion interesting, who are the types of people who don't hate us. So before we just specifically blame Christian students and people, I think you should more rephrase it to say it's the intrinsic and fundamentalist Christians who are to blame.

the ironic thing being that the bible says their hatred is a sin. infact, jesus says it, after rejecting leviticus, which is the source quoted by paul in romans and corinthians, and jesus never talks about or condems homosexuality. if you believe jesus brought a new testiment for us to follow, you cant go back to the old one when you dont like that the new one, I.E. the teachings of jesus, do not conform to your own personal agenda.
