She had already told me but, in the spur of the moment today she told some of our friends.

And, they seemed to be totally accepting which was weird to me because there' usually an anti-gay thing going on here. Maybe they thought she could at least have straight relationships. IDK.

I'm glad they supported your friend, but I hope she doesn't get any of the stereotypical crap that people usually throw at bisexuals. Just let her know that you're supporting her, and everything should be okay.

I think it's good they all seem to be supporting her.. How well do you know her friends? Maybe you might be underestimating them.. I think if you are a true friend, then sexual orientation should not stop one from being friends with anyone.. My friend has come out.. She hasn't specified if she is a lesbian or bi, but she is currently in a relationship with a woman and all of her friends have been really accepting and supportive of them both as friends should be.

Yeah, be careful about her other friends pulling the "she can choose" card. I wouldn't assume that they will, but still. It's good that she has at least one friend to help out.

if people think "it's okay because she can have straight relationships" then they are wrong. she is bisexual, it's impossible for her to have a straight relationship. whoever she is with she would remain bisexual.

glad you can be a supportive friend for her.

As long as your are supportive of her, that's a good thing. Just make sure she knows it. It's possible that she'll get some flak from friends who either don't understand or just want to make trouble. Make sure you're available as a shoulder if she needs one.
