Feel pretty good about myself but still can't sleep

    DD (who came to be at 11 now came to me tonight asking "Mum, is it ok with you that I have girlfriend?" *sigh*

    I would say you handled that situation like a real pro. :slight_smile: You asked reasonable, non-judgmental questions, and treated your daughter with the respect she deserves about her sexuality. I can understand you may be worried about your daughter, and her age in regard to this matter, but this is normal, and you handled it like a parent should.

    I think you responded very well. You asked important questions and showed your daughter you respect her feelings towards this girl. She is only thirteen so they probably won't go too far.

    Just wait and see what happens :slight_smile:
