Biopsy

    Ugh, I had to get a biopsy on my shoulder last thursday. I would have posted about it earlier, but tuesday is my last day of school and work has been crazy so there hasn't been time.

    Anyway, we went to the best dermatologist in Macon (if the insurance pays for it, why not?) and she thought that a biopsy was necessary. So she gave me the loooooooooongest shot of my life and took a huge piece of skin, which required four stiches. I really hope that it isn't skin cancer, but she wasn't too optomistic that it wasn't. Wish me luck! :eusa_doh:

    I hope everything turns out ok. tell us how it goes when you find out. Oh and doctors don't know shit sometimes and they like to worry people for nothing.

    Wow - possible skin cancer at 17? I'd hope not.

    I'll know on the 27th....that seems like a really long time for them to know what it is. Whatever, I'll just be glad to have these stiches out.

    Well, here's an update y'all. It took them two weeks, but the doctors finally have the results back from the lab. I have an appointment tomorrow at 2 p.m., so we'll see how it goes.
