So yeah every time I try to pull my foreskin back it starts hurting and feeling weird.....can anyone help?
stretching exercises may be all you need Mine didn't used to not fit over when I got hard, and barely when I wasnt - sometimes itd almost get 'stuck' if i got hard while it was back or pulled really hard. luckily never stuck enough to cause danger. Anyway, mine loosened up just through regular wanking mostly. I made a point of pulling back further than was comfortable.. but only just. it didnt hurt, just felt pressure. It stretches it out. I often wondered if u could put 'plugs' in it - kinda like the ones ppl use to stretch their ear piercings out  Anyway. Tread carefully, you dont want to tear it or cause pain. .I recommend looking up a guide online. It depends just how tight it is too I guess. Would recommend going and talking to a doctor about it.. dont be embarassed, doctors stick their hands up old mens butts, so you showing him your junk is nothing. Dont worry about getting an erection while its happening either.. thats normal regardless of your sexuality.
Stretching exercises may do the trick. It's certainly not the end of the world if doesn't. Mine sort of does but I'm just used it... it hasn't caused me any problems. As long as you can keep it clean under there etc etc then I wouldn't worry. If you're really concerned then yeah... go and see a doctor to put your mind at rest. I saw the doctor about the exact same problem and he pulled it back for me, of course I wasn't erect (as if I wasn't embarrassed enough) but yeah, its just one of those things that some guys get.
my ex said keep pulling it back till it starts hurting each day, that seems to be the general consensus
dont do it till it hurts.. well I mean.. there's a difference between "pressure" and "pain" ... if you get what I mean. You want to push the boundary, but you can't push it too much at once.
It could very well be phimosis. I had it and had to be circumcised at the age of 17, if this is your case stretching exercises won't help you. Go see a doctor.
After they do that procedure to an adult, what happens if a guy gets aroused? Does it tear the stitches? I only know one person who had it done and he chose to do it voluntarily. He was from Central America and about 19 or 20 when he did it.
Well I was very concerned about that. After the surgery I tried to avoid at all cost getting an erection but did happen as it is natural. It doesn't tear the stitches tho it felt like it but was probably just my mind. It did feel very weird and in general it was extremely sensible, like for the first days I would literaly wear nothing as I couldn't stand it ha, not painful at all but uncomfortable.
I have no idea. I was circumcised when I was about 5. I didn't even realize something was different with my penis 'till I was a teen and started watching porn (LOL). ---------- Post added 30th Aug 2013 at 04:20 PM ---------- Might be a little too personal of a question, but how did you manage to keep things clean "down there"? It can't possibly have been hygienic to not wash the head 'till you were 17.
No reason to rush to circumcision. If your doctor's immediate suggestion is circumcision, then find another doctor, because there are other things that can be tried to address phimosis before having to resort to total foreskin amputation. Circumcision is only very rarely medically necessary.
Well you see, If you've got phimosis it doesn't mean you can't retract the foreskin at all, it means it cannot be fully retracted or it hurts, at least this was my case, it also is easier to do it while you're soft so I had no problem cleaning, the problem (as it usually is) was when I got hard as my foreskin was to thight or wtv. Hope that answers your question.
I wont go into detail, but lets just say I will do anything to be able to retract it without getting a circumsition, ANYTHING
I just dealt with this issue this summer. I'd say go to a doctor and see if they will prescribe you a cream that helps loosen up the skin, thus making the stretching exercises more effective. The first urologist I went to said that my only choice was circumcision (which I knew wasn't true, at least for my case). So, I got my family doctor to refer me to a different urologist, who said that we could try a cream first and see if that worked, and it did. Edit: I should make it clear - the cream alone won't do much, if anything. But if you use the cream and do the stretching, it can speed up the results. Just doing the stretching exercises can yield results, but using the cream simultaneously shaves time off of the process.
Yes, it does. My situation was the same (minus the sex part, as I was too young for that). It's just been such a long time since I've had a foreskin, I can't remember how it went down. ---------- Post added 31st Aug 2013 at 03:09 PM ---------- Even if you end up getting one, you will survive. Trust me.
Had a similar problem when younger sadly I needed circumcision as no stretching exercises worked would of never had it done if it was preventable but seriously if you have no success in stretching exercises get cut. The reason way i say this is because if you leave it like i did when it comes to intercourse it will hurt and effect you ability due to the pain now I am fine and can enjoy myself after getting cut with no pain whatsoever. Also if it tight could do more damage when having intercourse i.e ripping etc sorry to be graphic but I don't want you to potentially cause more damage by not doing anything about it. Now I can safely say I have no problems with it even though I would prefer to not be cut really but i guess it not the end of world better then damaging your penis and causing something more serious thats harder to fix. Also it does not hurt getting cut like people say well for me I only got little discomfort for like 2 weeks then everything was normal.
