a long hot bath about an hour before... gets me every time!!

no major brain activity in the hour or two leading up to bed... (i.e.: no writing, internet, or exciting TV... maybe some dull TV)

if getting to sleep is a problem ... soothing music on low volume in the bedroom helps

tomorrow if you are having real problems...I would try over the counter herbal sleeping tablets for a short time

    hope you do better tonight!

No caffeine and no alcohol, they are both very common causes of insomnia. Are you stressed more than usual lately? Increased stress or anxiety can cause insomnia also.

I'm afraid not sleeping well is one of the most common things people go through, so it's not easy to find the exact cause.
