I was wondering if anyone knows about this. So would someone with a severe mental disability have a sex drive? For example, my older brother has strong down syndrome, would he feel the urge to have sex? Would he want to masturbate? I feel like the answer would be yes, but I'm not sure, my brother is almost 17 and he's not really showing signs of anything. Sort of similarly, could someone with a severe mental disorder be gay? Or anything else? I feel like the answer would be yes, but I don't know.
