I got sent home mid-day last Tues by my boss, & took the rest of the week - no problem, i can self certificate. Saw Dr this morning who reluctantly signed me off for a week. problem is, iv fucked up. I only work part time (3days) & figured a self cert could get me to Weds, was sure it was a '5 working days' thing. so the Dr has signed me off as of Wednesday. But turns out the self-cert is '7 consecutive days', incl. wkends. So it runs out today. Which leaves me with no cover for tomoro. its my fuck up, but i dunno what to do. forms confuse me. & my boss, well he aint the easiest going bloke.. So basically im expecting to get slaughtered for having an 'unaccounted for' day. Help?
