How often should people get tested for STD's? I'm not sexualy active but i was reading on the world AIDS day website that everyone should get tested for AIDS and other STD's every 6 months.

Is this something that people are doing?

Its true, you should definitely get tested for hiv/aids every six months (due to how much risky sexual activity you've had.)
Sexually active with multiple partners, lil to no protection - Every 3 months
Sexually active with single partner lil to no protection - Every 6 months
Sexually active with multiple partners with protection (always) - 9 months
sexually active with single partner protection (always) - Year
Not sexually active - when ever...

Now no! People don't do this like they should, but now-a-days aid/hiv is a touchy and scary subject and people are either to nervous or to lazy...
