I'm gender fluid with a female body and I have a question that has to do with binding.

I've always felt uncomfortable with my breast size and I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted implants. I've always felt that they were too small (many A cups are too big for them) and I know they are not going to get any larger because this breast size is the norm for women in my family. I know there are a lot of people who will try to tell me that I shouldn't get breast implants because I don't need to fit into society's standards of beauty, but honestly I don't really care about what society thinks of my appearance. If I decided to get implants it would be for my own sake because it's something that I want, so I don't really need anyone to talk to me about that.

The only problem I have is the fact that I'm gender fluid. Sure, having larger breasts would be great when I'm feeling female, but when I'm feeling male (or even sometimes when I'm feeling genderqueer) it would be really upsetting.

So my question here is can you bind if you have breast implants? I used to assume that you couldn't and had decided against them because of that, but I recently had a friend who is transmale tell me that you still can. He had heard it third person, though, so I'm not sure. I tried looking it up on google but I couldn't find any results. I'd really appreciate any feedback or advice on this. I would like breast implants but if I won't be able to bind after I get them I don't think I want them.

Are you worried about comfort, safety, or practicality?
I don't really know anything about implants, but if they are quite hard, or solid then binding might not be comfortable, and probably would make you more conscious of your breasts which i guess would defeat the point. It could also be that they don't bind down as well as natural ones. If the issue is safety, it would probably be best to speak to a specialist doctor, who could advise you on that, or maybe even just a GP? Same goes on the hard or soft thing, actually.
Speaking as a woman with rather large breasts, if you're gender fluid, don't go too much bigger, as whenever i wear tight clothing that's too small (the closest I've come to binding) it feels quite restricting and uncomfortable.
Basically I'd say speak to a professional, but don't feel pressured by them to make a decision - just get some more information and think it through once you have it. But you seem to know your own mind well enough on that front

Hope this helps some, I'm sorry I can't help from experience!
