Got this zit like thing on my right ring finger for past couple weeks and won't go away on its own. Tried popping it with a black head remover but found next day it hadn't gone away. White center (like a zit ready to pop), red and swollen. What the hell's this about?
Ingrown hair? (Assuming you grow hair on your knuckles.) Any of your digging around in there revealed an ingrown follicle?

I treat them just like pimples. Wash them, put acne medication on them if you have it, keep it clean, and if you can easily see the hair, just pull it out with some sterile tweezers.
Exactly. If it's an ingrown hair, the infection will just keep coming back until the hair is removed. At least the hair is usually easy to remove from these.
Well I was going to suggest what I did for this finger wart, which was to go Chuck Norris on it and bite it off with teeth...but uhm...don't do that, everyone else has a way better suggestion. So...uh yeah.
