How bad would you say they are? Do they make you super sensitive to light and noise? If they are migraines, there are different ways that they can be brought on, and there's even a list of foods you could look up and see if maybe one or several of those could be triggering them for you. If they are just regular headaches, it could be any number of things... Stress, being tense, or if you have seasonal allergies it could be a sinus headache. With so little to go on, I can't really tell you what's causing your headaches. I'd recommend looking up different types of headaches and their triggers and see if you can't narrow them down and identify which type your having, that way you can also learn how to avoid them. As for treating them, I tend to go for Advil, Tylenol, and Excedrin. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you. Good luck!
I think you should speak to a doctor about this. If you are not staying hydrated, that can definitely cause headaches. It is best to speak to a doctor about something like this if this is becoming a major problem for you.
Speaking to a doctor is always best. As has been stated, hydration and stress are the two most common causes of headaches; however, there could literally be hundreds of factors at work. Some people are simply more headache prone than others, but it is important to go through the general tests to be sure that is the case rather than a more serious issue. Do not take medication for headaches unless they have reached a point that you feel unable to regularly function without it. I've had very frequent migraines and headaches over the years and, despite the fact that I never abused over the counter drugs, I was forced to resort to them more frequently than most. I've grown accustom to headaches and migraines after all this time and nearly never take medication for them; however, because of my childhood, my drug tolerance is abnormally high and the average over the counter drug might as well be a placebo in effect for me. So before taking medication, drink, have a snack, adjust the light around you (Dim the room if it is bright. Turn on the lights, especially if you were watching t.v. or viewing any screen), and rest your eyes.
This may seem like a rude question, but are you overweight at all? I was getting headaches for a few months, and eventually went to my eye doctor thinking that maybe my glasses needed adjusting. It was then that I found out that I had swelling in my optic nerves. I was sent to a retinal specialist who sent me to a neurologist. Long story short, after 2 MRI's, an MRA, and a spinal tap, i found I have Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (also known as psuedo tumor). Basically my body has too much spinal fluid and instead of reabsorbing it, it just holds on to it, which puts pressure on my brain and in turn my optic nerves. I have to take a daily medication for it, and was told that my weight played a role in it (as it is more common in people who are overweight although doctors don't really know why). It's been a year since my diagnosis, I've lost 100lbs and I'm almost off the meds. Obviously this is an extreme case, but because there are extreme/serious causes for headaches, I'd say if they last more then a month you should go get a check up.
