So, like two days ago, I made a thing asking if a boy could stop growing at 14. Well, I'm also wondering... If my dad is 6 feet, and my mom is 5'4 how tall should I end up?
I don't think there's any real way to say how tall you'll be based on the heights of your parents. Genetics and growth patterns and nutrition and all those things are more complicated than that for things like height. For example. My mom's entire family is under 5'5". My dad is 5'11". I am 5'7" ish. My brother is 6'2". We think it runs in my dad's family somewhere, but we aren't super sure. Although I did read somewhere that if you're a boy your mother's height plus five, plus your dad's height, then divided by 2 is an okay predictor. (If you're a girl it's father's height minus five, plus your mother's height, then divided by 2)
