how many pushups can u do in a row?

    I don't know how many I could do if I wanted to, but I usually do 50 when I hit the gym.

    45 is great! I don't think I could do that many when I was 13. Keep it up! :slight_smile:

    Probably around 45 on a good day. That is a lot of frickin' pushups X.X

    I've actually never tried to do more than 20 pushups in a row. Every self defence and melee lesson at school I must do about 70-80, but not in a row.

    With arm/torso/leg weights, probably about 30-40.

    Without arm/torso/leg weights, probably about 60-80.

    I haven't done push ups in a while, but this is what I remember. I usually focus more on lifting or cardio.

    I managed to do 55 pushups in a row recently. I usually focus more on lifting weights than doing pushups. I'm trying to achieve 100 pushups in a row though.

    What do you mean by pushups?
    This guy apparently does 1000 really fast, but overall he probably only does the work of about 15 proper pushups because his range of motion is so small and his momentum is doing most of the work.

    Whereas this is a far more legitimate number because he's going all the way day and he is doing it in a controlled manner, not just as fast as possible (though I skipped around the video and he does do some bad ones occasionally)

    Yeah I'm actually kinda weak when it comes to push-ups but I am getting there. I managed to do about 30. I'm a jogger so I'm more focused on cardio.

    I think my max was 75 in under one minute, and I'm not sure how much further I could have gone if I kept working up from there, since the class only lasted a few months.

    The last time I did as many as I could I did 48. I'm recovering from a shoulder injury at the moment though. I was doing around 60 before that. By the way, by "push-up," I mean touching your chest to the ground and then locking out at the top.

    And "good" is subjective. As long as you're using good form and you're progressivly getting better, you're doing good. ;-)

    that's totally me lol

    I can't bring myself all the way down, i can only do what he's doin. and i do weight exercises as part of my whole general work out thing, along with runnin and dance ab stuff, but i'm not ever gonna be able to do proper push ups and pull ups until I'm on T for sometime and can actually build some fuckin muscle.
