So I'm 16 years old and weighed about 230 pounds. I've now dropped down to 205 through exercising and being very careful about how much I eat. I've been doing this 1) So I don't get Type 2 diabetes, because it runs in my family And 2) This is really the most why I've decided to lose weight: to make myself more attractive. My original goal was to get down to 180 pounds. I want to get below 200 by early August and just lose more weight throughout the year till I hit that number. Is that a good goal weight for someone my age? I'm 6 feet, btw.. I want to look good but also be healthy.
230 lb (104kg) I wouldn't have said was an unhealthy weight for a 6' fella. I guess it depends on your build though. 205 lb (93kg) give or take 5 lb would be a good weight if you're a medium to solid build. If you're naturally a slim build, i wouldn't try to get any less than 180 lb (81kg). Just my opinion. Peace
