It still shocks me that people are still so insensitive to eating disorders and body dysmorphia. I've literally been told it's "fucking annoying" and I need to learn "self respect." Why can't people just learn to respect others bodies and not make them feel shitty if they aren't comfortable? I'm pretty sure everyone who suffers from any type of self hatred would much rather be comfortable with themselves. I try to have compassion because I know these people just don't understand. But after having to explain why I don't want to do/ wear/post certain things online is tiring and frustrating.

    /end rant/

People can be pretty rude and ignorant about things they don't understand. This is why I keep my mind open and my mouth closed until I've found out more about ANYTHING before i try to express any kind of opinion.
