Hi this would not even need mentioning, except that in a few replies I had made to others who were going through some sort of challenge regarding either: porn, wanting to give up porn, not being able to get off on porn, etc, I had said that porn had lost all appeal to me, and that I was 'done with porn', with the implication that this was permanent. Well it wasn't permanent after all. After a week or two of not being able to get aroused by it, or by much else to be honest, this morning I did use porn images to pleasure myself, and thus I'm not 'totally over porn' as I might have implied. Having said that, I did actually believe I was when I stated that, so I intended no deception. But I've accepted that, so long as I don't have an actual, physical partner to lavish all my affection and desire upon, I will probably use imagery available on the net to help me through this period of having no partner. But I do look forward to having an actual partner, because really there is still something unsatisfying and just a tad empty about just getting off of an image, no matter how beautiful, because I really do want much more than that now - I seek an emotional connection. But facing reality, I must admit that porn will continue to be an aspect of my single life, I suspect. ' I don't need any help with this, but I hope that anyone who had read my posts where I had announced my 'freedom' from porn gets to read this, so that they can know that, well I'm 'human, all too human.'
