Caught a cold the past week but this sore throat just won't go away (other than that I'm fine now, except I seem to sweat a little more than usual) and it's very distracting. I have an exam next week and I have to pass it in order to graduate and I'm rather under the weather. Any tips or advice? Other than the relevant medicine (I'm taking that, but it might drag on for several more days) or doctors etc..
Get some throat numbing thingys, and i dont mean the ones you buy, theyre bad. I mean ones which you can get from a pharmacy. ^.^
Drink tons of water, maybe some tea (if you like that sort of thing), and get plenty of sleep. You can take Tylenol to reduce the irritation.
Hot tea with honey, and some add a little bit of lemon helps a lot. I also heard of eating marshmallows, though I do not know how well that one works.
This happens when I get a cold, too. Gargle with warm salty water. It's a bit yucky (I don't like salt) but it will make your throat feel better. 1tsp in a cup of water should do it. Repeat as needed. (Got this info from an MD.)
I'd cheekly say swallow sperm haha.Try gargling with salt, sore throats can be nasty cold left overs.
