I just went to the dentist to get a tooth fixed and they sedated me due to my anxiety. I understand that I'm supposed to be slightly drowsy afterwards, but I've thrown up three times in the past four hours! I can't talk either because the left side of my mouth is numb (but not the right!). I don't think either of those are normal! Thoughts?

The numbing is pretty normal. They don't numb your whole mouth, just the area around where they are working.

Everyone reacts differently to anesthetic. I'm fine wheni come out from being put under, my sister throws up for hours and is miserable every time she comes out.

    Nothing really seems too unusual

I don't think this is particularly unusual for the reasons Skov posted above. Pretty unpleasant though, right? :frowning2: I'm sorry you're feeling so rough - I hope you feel better soon!
