So-in the last two or three days I've had an outbreak on
my palms of what looks like eczema-more precisely
dyshydrotic eczema. There are very small bubbles
in the inside of my skin, I don't know how to describe it.
So-my first theory is that it could be because of my
leather gloves, Since Potassium Dichromate (leather
preservative) can be used to treat Leather.

    But-for a while (at least a month) I've had a similar thing
on the bottom of my left foot (no-not the right one).

I haven't been digesting very well as of late (last three-four
weeks), that could be because of my diet (I doubt it,
I've cut out McDonalds for the most part, and I eat healthier
    in general).

Also-my sister has cœliac (celiac) disease, so I wonder
if that could be it, but I hope it's not.

So-Kara, you're the real doctor, what do you think?

EDIT: Also-I checked and my Shampoo and soap
    contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate

Dyshydrotic eczema is a rather rare diagnosis. I've only seen two cases- one in a man who worked in a fish market and another in a woman who had a history of severe allergies and chronic dermatitis.

What distinguishes dyshydrotic eczema from other possibilities like fungal infections or contact dermatitis is that it is very painful. The two cases that I saw were both people who complained of painful sores on their hands and in the case of the woman, similar sores on their feet. It was the pain that prompted them to seek treatment.

If you suspect you have dyshydrotic eczema, you should see a dermatologist for a definitive diagnosis.

I've had the weird bubble like things under my skin on my hand before, it really makes you want to "pop" them but they went away and stayed away so I'm not much of help. One of my co-workers has bad eczema too.

Your best luck is to see a dermatologist so they can examine it and diagnose it properly.

Ok-well it doesn't hurt or anything. And actually,
I skipped my gloves today, and skipped a shower
last night (I was clean and I'm taking one tonight,
don't worry :icon_wink) and it has gone away
for the most part. So-maybe one of those things
has to do with it? Or are my hands just too
dry (over washing?). I'm not too worried
about it anymore though-as it's died down.
