What would you say 1st bass 2nd bass 3rd bass and home run.
I get the impression that it's down to interpretation.

I always thought first base was kissing, second was fondling, and third was sex. I've never heard of home run.

I think that the home plate would be intercourse/sex. first base? kiss. second base, what used to be called "petting." third base, "heavy petting." Yeah, I know that petting is an archaic term, but so is the whole base thing. These are all terms from another time. The only term still in popular speech is first base, but in the sense of not getting anywhere (whether sexually or anything else) as in "I couldn't even get to first base."

In terms of straight sex, I've always understood it as:
    1. Kiss
    2. Feeling boobs
    3. Oral
    4. Intercourse

As for what they are for gays, I'm not entirely sure. A home run, I would imagine, is still sex.

I truly don't mean to be rude and I sincerely apologise but this 'base' mentality is decades old and frankly archaic.

Romance and sex can be slowly gradual or it can be passionately all at once. Sometimes in society sex can come before kissing!

I would through this notion in the bin to be honest as its not applicable anymore.
