    This is a sensitive subject.

But last Friday(19th), I had wisdom teeth surgery. The surgery was fine, I adjusted very well mentally and physically to the anesthesia, and my recovery is doing quite well... no signs of dry sockets or complications right now.

However, ever sense I had surgery and have been prescribed with SEVERAL medications(AKA: painkillers, steroids for swelling, anti-biotics - and I've even taken ibuprofen)

I have almost NO feeling whenever I ejaculate.

I can still get aroused, yes. I can still achieve some pleasure, yes. But it's taking a lot more "work" to be able to ejaculate, and I can't achieve an orgasm(Like I do a good 85% of the time) because the feeling is nowhere near as great as it was before surgery.

    I'm a little worried... Why can't I feel anything when I have my me-time?

Is this because of the medications I'm taking? As well as me having to eat very minimal amounts of soft foods?

I really hope this is temporary. >_< Has anyone had an experience like this? If this does relate the surgery, current diet, and current medications I'm having to take... Is there anything I can do to help this?

The title just conjures up images of someone having an orgasm in a dentists chair :roflmao:

If you weren't on those meds before I can say almost definitely that it's due to them.

Don't worry, it happened to me too... I felt even insecure, 'cause after all I'm into crazy shit, but not orgasming as the dentist was over me with his torture instruments...

Reminds me of that incident with the priest, the sheep and the marmalade suit... Fortunately the next day I was able to orgasm during one of my Reader's digest, old nurses and yellow rubber duck sessions.

Shit happens, man, don't worry, soon you'll be orgasming during your math's exams (*hug*)

    LOL OMG. NO.

I don't mean orgasming as the dentist is over me. XP

I just want to know if I'll be able to feel pleasure once I stop using medications. XP

    He was being serious too.

Are you sure you really need more seriousness right now?

Stop worrying, it's just a side effect of the meds and the experience. It's normal.

    You'll be ok.

I think that painkillers affect your area down there too since they are working on the entire nervous system.

It was the reverse for me. That Tylenol 3 stuff they give you really enhanced it for me

Oh, they didn't give me Tylenol. XP

And yeah, I'm recovering more now; and using less pills... so my feeling is slowly coming back a little.

Haha that's the same thing I thought...I was like wtf lol

But yeah I agree it's more than likely the medication and once you are done with them everything should start to go back to normal

Well with an "interesting" title like that; people are going to want to read what it's about and will more likely provide input? ;D <3

I see you have many postings on this matter. Hopefully it's subsided. I work in oral surgery and can tell you that this is a side effect of pain narcotics. So, not to worry, you'll be normal soon.

I'm not shy from posting quite a bit about the biggest recent event in my life X3

But yeah, I'm sure it was the pain pills. I'm feeling gradually more normal the less I use it; because the pain is going down. :3

Are some of these pain pills opiate based? I was on Norco for a chronic condition for a while before I switched to an anti-inflammatory. I don't think it ruined my ability to orgasm but I did feel really woozy and out of it for a while. Some people just don't take well to pain medication, especially if it's not something they're used to.

My boyfriend just had his wisdom teeth taken out. I actually don't know if he wasn't able to get off because for the first couple days, we took a break from sex and he wasn't even in the mood to take care of things himself.

I'd see how you feel in the next couple days since you do seem to be feeling a little more normal.

What are you using for painkillers? Are the steroids topical or are you ingesting them? Painkillers usually should used for 10 - 14 days, so I'm assuming you are almost off it as well...Try using Tynenol ( acetaminophen ) instead of ibuprofen. Ibuprofen targets the blood ( so coupling it with pain killing medication might cause this ).
