I have been experiencing pain during sex... my doctor thinks that I'm allergic to something in the lubricant that I use. The problem has been ongoing and I have used many different types of lubricant but I didn't know that I should have been paying attention to the ingredients. Does anyone have any suggestions on what types have few chemicals and that generally are gentle on the skin?

Just like the super basic trojan or durex, but I've ruled out an allergy to latex. Do you think it could be the lube on the condoms that's irritating?

Have you always had pain since you first started having sex? I have heard some women are naturally more apt to have pain down there.

I don't know, hon. Could be anything. Maybe leave the lube out next time and see how it goes?
