Sorry I've been away, I had another hospital stay and just got out. Today I told my mum I wanted to try tampons. She thought to get me the small ones with the tube inserter thing(I'm new to this). I was so nervous, so scared, but when I got home I got the mirror to help, washed my hands, put my leg up on the toilet, and had a look. I'd looked online for diagrams, help, but the real flesh confused me and I had no idea what to do with myself! I found it hard to get it up there and gave up due to worry? Advice?
It might help feel around with your finger to find where the hole is. I usually put the "inserter thing" (I don't know what it is called either) into the hole an inch or two before inserting the tampon.
