It's not on either of my testicles, nor is it on my chest.

It's about a dime sized lump right at the base of my shaft. It's kind of painful to touch, and when I apply a slight amount of pressure, a pain seems to shoot from the lump towards my testicles.

I'm really scared right now and I'm hoping it isn't what a lump usually signifies.
    I just noticed it today.

You should make an appointment to see your doctor.

If you're concerned that it might be cancer, the risk is low. I've mentioned this before in other posts but generally cancer is not painful. Usually painful lumps and bumps prove to be infections or inflammations. This sounds like an infected sebaceous cyst but only a physical exam would be able to provide an accurate diagnosis. This is why you should see your doctor.

Now, I have no idea what this could be, but I recommend that you see your doctor immediately.

I'm no doctor, but I will say that you have been under a lot of stress lately... Maybe it's some kind of pimple or boyle kind of thing?

    I'd see a doctor though. Don't be scared though --- I'm sure you'll be fine

I'm in a rush so I didn't bother reading the other replies but guenerally cancer lumps aren't painful to touch at all.

Definately make an appointment to see your doctor, although I doubt it's very serious at the moment, there's potential for it to spread into the blood if its an infection/boil of some form.

    Good luck!

They can cure it if it is in a early stage.

Alright, I've been ignoring it the past two days since it's the holiday season and I really don't want to ruin everyone's Christmas here.

BUT!! It's getting smaller and calcifying a little bit. Plus, the pain is completely gone.

    It's probably 100% stress related.

Probably. I've gotten a few lumps on my leg/knee/back this year in the middle of my mental breakdown I had. One became infected though.. >_>

    Ahhh
A second one appeared, and this one I could tell for sure was a pimple.

So the lumps are all stress related.
