Loseing weight

    I am a bit chubby, and I want to lose a few pounds. i tried dieting but that didn't work out too well. Does anyone have any advice or tips to help me?

    Try more exercise (like for longer amounts of time than you usually do, and more frequently), weight train, reduce portion size, and maybe try slowly eliminating junk foods out of your diet (like start out eliminating soda, and after like 3 weeks try eliminating something else, or even adding something like a multi-vitamin).

    Just some ideas :]

    do some cardio and weight training.
    bump up the lean protien in your diet as well and you'll be on track.

    Ive been doing ALOT of cardio (reclined bike, or w/e you call that funky thing) then following it up with weight trainning / medicine ball workouts all while on a semi-non crap diet. Ive lost quite a few pounds, so im happy :slight_smile:

    Good Luck on the weight loss. Its all about Lifestyle change. Its not just about counting calories or fat content. Its just how your body reacts to certain food. Replacing chips with baked chips, replacing soda with tea or water, eating whole wheat bread instead of white. Those little choices add up. As for the exercise, more cardio seems good though you want some weight training but from a few military friends tell me is that to go on an elliptical machine for 30 minutes a day and you will drop weight fast!     Drink a glass of water before each meal, eat healthy, and exercise. That's all you need.
