    nice pecs, and broad shoulders!
I swim a lot, but I don't seem to get those

According to your profile, you're 13. That's about the age where you can begin a weight training program. Swimming will develop the upper body- shoulders, back and arms but in a very lean way (which is what they call "swimmer's build").

What are your goals- are you interested in strengthening for swimming or are you going more for the beachbody look that looks good is not prepared for athletics like swimming?

Press ups for your pecs and sit ups for your stomach. To get the 'V' shape you will need to work on your sholders and lats.

Try some sholder presses and shoulder front raises to work on your deltoids. If your only 13 I would recommend using really light weights and paying attention to form (this means each exercise is done slowly and under control). For your lats use a lat pull-down machine. If you dont have access to one of these at your gym/school, a rowing machine works well. BTW, dont forget to work on your legs... a much neglected part of the body when people look to shape up.

Im not a personal trainer so its probably best that you ask your PE/gym teacher.
