is it true that regular anal sex can cause anal incontinence? and can you get infections even if neither partner have a infection?

I tried reading online but some websites say anal sex is safe, some say it's not and some say it is but always with precaution. Most say it's safe but you have to be responsible with it. Maybe any doctors or med students on here can answer.

    To the first question, no.

To the second question, yes. The penetrating partner can get a urinary tract infection. This is why you should wear a condom even if both partners are HIV negative, don't have chlamydia or whatever.

We link to safer sex practices in the Resources section. Stay safe and have fun! (*hug*)

Fisting can cause anal incontinence. Anuses (Anuii?) are not designed to have fists and arms in them.

A penis, on the other hand, isn't any larger than, uh, a turd, so your anus is quite capable of handling it with no harm. (As long as the top is thoughtful and careful.)

And I echo Pret's thoughts about condoms. Always, always, always.

I dont believe having anal sex causes incontinence except for what chip said about the fisting. You should most def use a condom though and be safe. Especially if you are having anal sex with a female because obviously she can get infections from your penis being in their and then possibly in her vagina. Just change the condom when finished with anal and get a new one if you want to do vaginal penetration. Hope this helps!
