Well I went to the library to check out an autobiography of Jenna Jameson (that has a lot to do with it actually; she's a porn star), and I was flipping through the pages and there was a big yellow stain *perhaps pee*, and now I am paranoid when I touch the book because I think someone might had masturbated to the pictures *a straight guy *or bi?* since she's a woman*, and I worried about transmitted sex diseases in case there is bacteria of dry semen or pee on there, and most of all AIDs. It could be orange juice, but you never know, and because this book has a lot of provocative pictures it probably something lol (no nudes though; or at least not yet).

Now the reason why I pick up this book, since I want to know about her life, it's a sudden interest *found out who she was on Friday through Wikipedia; then watch all her interviews on youtube*, and anytime I start liking a celebrity a lot I read their biography *she's the third one*. I actually had to get this book.

But I read about 40 pages, and everytime I get a break from reading I wash my hands. I am probably going to read more later today.

But is there anyway to get a transmitted disease by touching a book that someone may had masturbated to in the past?? Guessing at least a few months, since the book been out since 2004. The thought of it grosses me out, but its because of paranoia (except the stain).

Just make sure that you was your hands really well when reading your book and perhaps try some Clorox bleach wipes to clean the pages on your book,I would also notify the library about the book so that they can order a new one and or trash the one you have you can also call and ask them if they have another one.As for std and such it may or may not be possible to contact something but i would be very careful when reading the book.

Ok thanks, I don't know the chances of getting it but I doubt it, maybe I should disinfect my room because I had it on a few places. I see just one stain, and I could be just paranoid. The rest of the book is clean, but the pictures of her is pulled out and then placed back in it.... I don't know what that means. Kind of disgusting thought really.

But I don't want to get a disease, and die just because I touch a book. lol

I'm sure KB will be able to tell you more about this, but HIV's a pretty fragile virus. It's not going to survive dried on the pages of a book for however long. I don't know if any virus can handle that.

    Um...

THERE IS NO WAY you are going to get an STD from old dried cum on the pages of a book dear hehe. NOOOooooo way. HIV/AIDS is a virus that uses your body as a host for a reason - it cant live outside of it. These viruses die quite quickly outside of your body, i would say after a full day they would be dead. Pretty much everything that would have been inside some guys "special sauce" that got on the page is dead by now so you dont have to worry about any of this.

...but yea, people are disgusting, its most likely *not* orange juice.

Even if it did have any STDs on it, you can't get it through skin contact.

Thanks Greggers, that help a lot, I was searching information about this and all it said was the main causes of it. Never went into details about getting it through dry semen.

--Roswell I was worried about it in case I touch my eye or something, or it gets in contact with me some how after I wash my hands. Like the bacteria from the book when I open my door, and then the door knob has it. Then my room is infested with it.

I know that really makes no sense, but I don't want this disease at all. If that was in fact true I know the whole world would be dying of this now.
