I've NEVER owned a razor, thus I'm hairy like Sasquatch. Anyone else leave their body hair to just grow?

I'm only a guy, but when I was at a northern CA college known for its 60s ambience, it was pretty common for girls to throw away the razor. Saw a lot of hairy legs riding their bikes to school. I loved it!

I gather this is more common also in the more northern Pacific coast states. Maybe because of the cold! Although I suppose Cambridge isn't all that tropical either.

    So you go!

Every once in a while, I trim my pubes or get a haircut. But other than that, I usually leave my body hair alone. I prefer the fuzzy feeling to the spiky stubbly feeling for my body hair.

If you have never owned a razor or shaved, I would think your hair is naturally lighter and softer than having had shaved and quit. To do over again, I think I would have never started shaving.

I went against what mom told me "don't start shaving', and shaved anyways. Big mistake now I know. Once you shave, it grows back thicker, darker and expands. So while I don't shave it all, I keep it trimmed.

Personally I hate the look of a shave pubic region on either sex. It looks babyish.. For the lesbian aspect, hair is not an issue unless just shaven and prickly.

Added: there are also health benefits not to shave.

I'm a trans guy, but when I identified as a female I never shaved and now I'm (sadly) at an all girl's school, but I still don't shave and nobody really seems to care.

I only shave my face, and that's only because my best attempt at a beard isn't visible from more than six feet away...maybe one day.

I don't see why it's become normal to shave everything, I honestly don't care about armpit hair and pubes - if you shower before I'm anywhere near those parts, there's no problem.
